Legendary Irish designer Orla Kiely has teamed up with legendary bin maker Brabantia to create the prettiest trash cans you ever did see! And I get to give one to one lucky reader!
Even if you’re not in Ireland, I’m sure you’ve seen Orla Kiely’s prolific leaf print all over the world, on bags and clothing and furniture – she even had a line at Target!
Today, I get to give away one of her pretty trash cans to one of my readers.
To enter, comment below and tell me your least favourite chore (mine was always taking out the brown compost bin in Dublin, but here in Houston we have a disposal in the sink! It’s way less yucky!). Loving receiving your blogs in my inbox! I feel your pain with the compost bin….especially in the summer when you have to duke it out with the flies. My worst chore has to be cleaning the bathroom and pulling hair from the baths plug hole! Ahhhhhhhhh….though great satisfaction when it’s all done.
My least favorite chore is definitely dishes — my hands get so dried out!!

I’m actually kind of relieved we don’t have a compost bin. My least favourite chore is definitely drying clothes. I don’t mind washing or folding, but I miss having a dryer in the apartment when I lived in the US!

I hate washing up! If I wash as I cook that’s fine but I hate doing dishes after cooking, eating and all you want to do is relax. In that scenario , instead of just doing the job , I set about leaving everything ‘ to soak’!!!
I haaaaate doing laundry. I would wash dishes and take out the trash everyday if someone would just do my laundry for me. Or maybe just fold the clothes out of the dryer. Does this mean I’m not good at adulting?
My least favourite chore is ironing, so I try to buy clothes that don’t require it!! My last flatmate used to own a clothes shop and had a steamer which was amazing. Loved not having to take an ironing board out! That bin would be such a stylish addition to my new (read old and in insane need of fixing and upping!) new house!

My last favourite chore is still ironing. It used to be the compost bin but rather the cleaning after emptiying it. Now we use compostable “plastic” compost bags (actually it’s from corn starch) and the compost bag is just one more to take down our 89 steps. The bin is sooooooo gorgeous!

Cleaning the inside of the fridge, it’s so boring! I always wait till the day before my weekly shop so it is less empty

My least favorite task is probably cleaning sink and tub drains. It’s not glamourous, but it’s so nice to have things working properly afterward. What a gorgeous bin to win! I love Orla Kiely designs.

My least favorite chore is starting the laundry. I live in an apartment complex and we only have one dryer and washer per apartment building. Whenever I try to start the laundry there is always someone who has left their clothes in, and they don’t remove them for at least a few hours. Drives me up a wall! Makes just starting laundry a huge chore. Oddly enough, I love folding and putting the clothes away :)!
These are adorable! Mine is washing the countertop compost bin out…after it has been emptied. Ugh.
My least favorite – by far – is mopping! Maybe it’s because we have white tile floors, but it seems to be such back-breaking work. I’d happily take out the trash or clean the bathrooms above mopping any day.
My least favourite chore is, without a doubt, putting away laundry. Logically I know you just fold it and put it away, no big deal, but yet it feels like climbing Everest to me daily…

Dusting…… I loathe it, always have and always will. So much so if I had the choice I would rather wash the compost bin!! Yep I hate dusting.

My least favourite chore is emptying the bag that sits inside the hoover.. not a happy chore for an asthmatic and super difficult to get it to click bag into place. Sometimes a sweeping brush seems a delightful thing by comparison! 🙂 x
My least favorite chore is cleaning out the fridge veggie bin when I’ve forgotten something in the bottom for way too long. Oops (and yuck)!
